Funding Sources
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Rainbow Speech Pathology provides service to NDIS clients with capacity building funding under therapeutic supports category. All NDIS clients must be either self-managed or plan managed as we are no longer registered to work with Agency managed clients.
The NDIS is a support provided by the government, for Australians with a disability, their families and carers. For additional information on the NDIS including eligibility criteria for yourself or your child, please go to ndis.gov.au
Our 2023 Fees
Our Fees are based on the fee schedule set out in the NDIS
price guide for Capacity Building Therapeutic Supports
Assessments, Therapy, Reports, phone calls, research
$210.15 for 45 minute session + 15 minutes note writing + 5 minute preparation for session
$242.49 for 60 minute session + 15 minutes note writing
(All appointments are charged at an hourly rate of $193.99, which includes 20 minutes of non-face-to-face preparations, follow up.)
Travel
Community and home visits are available depending on location.
$48.49 per 15 minutes
$96.99 per 30 minutes
Mileage is charged at a rate of 97c per km
Clinical supervision
$180/hour (including GST)
Supervision and mentorship for Speech & Language Pathologists

How we can help
Rainbow Speech Pathology is a registered Medicare provider.
You or your child may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for sessions.
- Medicare Chronic Disease Management – clients with more than one health issue may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to 5 sessions a year when referred by a GP
- Helping Children with Autism- Clients diagnosed with Autism may be eligible for 10 Medicare rebated sessions when referred by a paediatrician
- Private Health Insurance rebates also apply if you are covered for Speech Pathology
We do not bulk bill sessions and if using Medicare plans there will be a gap fee to pay. As of current our hourly rate is $210.00 based on the fee schedule set out in the NDIS price guide for Capacity Building Therapeutic Supports.
